You wouldn't believe it from reading my reviews, but there are games out there that are in fact neither the worst thing ever created nor the second coming of He who is Christ. Sometimes, a great idea simply gets screwed up by the game that gets in the way. Will some of these (slightly older) titles tickle your fancy in spite of their flaws? More after the jump!

Oh hello, adoring fans and devout readers. It's a special day. This is our 100th post on WordsFinest - a marvelous milestone which deserves your generous applause. Go ahead. Clap.
Clap, dammit.
No? Alright, we understand. We were once humorless prudes, too. We'll save the clapping for the two-hundredth post. That's what this is about - the future! The next 100 posts. Are you sufficiently titillated? Read on!

Overdue Review: Metro 2033 (PC)
In Games, In Metro 2033, In PC, In Review, In Xbox 360Monday, April 19, 2010
4a Games offers its foray into the survival/first-person-shooter genre with Metro 2033. Taking place in Moscow decades after a nuclear holocaust which forced the survivors into the metro system (which is actually fallout protected, for reals. Thank you cold war!) the game leads you on a journey through monsters, military, and the unknown. How did this reviewer fare in this environment? Read on, after the jump!
